Corey Turner (Australia)
We just sent Corey An STD unit to use. Here is his story: I am 16 years old. I started riding dirt bikes at 2 years old and racing at 5 years old. I won 2 Australian dirt track titles and 3 Qld titles when I was 5. My dad then got a new job in boats so i stopped racing until 2011 when I decided to get back into it. I bought a Metrakit 80 and competed all the 2011 season in Australia. In 2012 I moved up to the new moto3 class. And set lap records at many different tracks, and still have the lap record at 3 circuits on a standard Honda moto3. I finished 2nd behind team mate Linc gilding and 3rd Hundson Pitt in the Australian Moto3-125GP championship. That year from 32 starts in 3 different championships I won 22 races, 8 seconds and 2 thirds. We then decided there was no competition left to chase in Australia and in 2013 made the move to the Spanish Moto3 championship run by dorna as it is the most competitive racing in the world before the next step to GP racing. The first half of the season wasn't great, the team wouldn't help me with setting up the bike and took all of our money. We finished the last half of the season on our own with the help of an Italian mechanic and a technician from Australia who I worked with in 2012. We qualified for every race in the last half of the season and finished 32nd in those last races. FTR is a UK GP chassis manufacture and supported me with a 2013 FTR moto3 for that season, and this season they have continued to support me and help me put a FTR moto2 together. The moto3 class was way over our budget to try and be on a competitive level so we decided for the 2014 season we would give moto2 a go. So this season we are racing a FTR moto2 in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 championship. I finished 19th in Aragon which was our first race ever on a moto2 bike, 19th in Catalunya, and 20th last weekend in Albacet. The next race is in September in Navarra which is a track I like so we are hoping for a top15 finish and get some championship points. We are using this year as a learning year and hopefully do another 2 seasons in this moto2 championship before we look at going up that next level to world championship racing.. Sorry if its a bit of a blur to read. We were broken into last week and had our passports, wallets, laptops, iPhones etc stolen so I am unable to send you my resume, I have just written this off the top of my head.. Thanks Corza #52
